The best way to begin is by knowing how you can start and how much you want this. First you have to plan out what days you can have a workout, at least 30 minutes a day/150 minutes a week is the minimum requirement. Which can always be even split into 3 days a week as long as you get those 150 minutes of activity. 3 days is always a good way to start until you get your body use to it.

Second, its best to begin with a fitness activity you already enjoy because if you start with something you hate or don't enjoy, you're more likely to quit soon. For example, a sport, running, yoga, pilates, etc. So for now BE ACTIVE, HAVE FUN!

Once you have adjusted to being more active you can move on to the next level. Remember it takes 21 days to create a habit and 90 days to create a lifestyle. Once you make it through those 21 days you're ready to finally find a workout program that fits you and TRANSFORM!
